Job summary
Tata Consultancy Services in Memphis, TN is seeking a Supplier Quality & Manufacturing Engineer to support MDD/MDR remediation across operations. You will design processes, review inspections, and drive CAPA actions in collaboration with SQEs and suppliers.
The role requires hands-on experience with PPAP, PFMEA, MSA, and DCO routing, with a focus on improving supplier performance and product quality through cross-functional teamwork.
Qualifications
- Support all phases of Operations MDD/MDR remediation.
- Design manufacturing processes and production layouts for assemblies and handling.
- Review of inspection and test requirements within production plans requiring remediation.
- Initiate corrective action to ensure quality.
- Tech File review.
Responsibilities
- Control plan review, ECO & SMECO approval, DCO routing.
- Drive supplier quality performance and product improvement.
- Qualify suppliers per PPAP and administer certified supplier programs.
- Evaluate suppliers' internal functions and provide feedback on operations.
- Create BOMs and subcomponent specifications with R&D.
- Create risk documents for subcomponents; TMV; qualify/validate subcomponents.
- Implement Quality Agreements; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
