Job summary

DG Matrix, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the ramp-up of a new facility in Morrisville, NC.

You will build manufacturing processes from scratch, translate engineering designs into production-ready work instructions, and own process quality for power electronics products as we scale from first unit to hundreds per year. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in electronics, power systems, or industrial equipment.
• Strong working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with PFMEA, control plans, and structured problem-solving (8D, 5-Why).
• Proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred) and MS Office / Google Suite.
• Experience with MES or ERP systems (Odoo, SAP, or similar).
• Strong cross-functional communication — design, quality, supply chain, and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and improve manufacturing processes, work instructions, and BOMs for power electronics products.
• Lead NPI — translate designs into production-ready processes and tooling requirements.
• Define and optimize work cell layouts, cycle times, takt time, and line balancing.
