Job summary

Cellofoam North America Inc. is seeking an experienced engineer to design, integrate, and improve manufacturing systems to boost productivity and reduce costs at our Conyers, GA facility.

You will lead capital projects, coordinate equipment sourcing, support safety initiatives, and develop efficient production methods while collaborating with maintenance and production teams. A 4-year engineering degree is preferred, with strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and a commitment to lean

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
• Experience substituted for degree acceptable.
• Advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, design, and coordinate installation of complex manufacturing projects for plants, including material handling, steam, air, and water systems, bead systems, etc.
• Lead and Manage capital projects including equipment sourcing, project budgeting and timelines.
• Support Safety thru active participation as a member of the Corporate Safety Committee.
• Develop alternative methods of making manufacturing practices more efficient and cost effective; look at space constraints, material requirements and current needs to increase productivity.
• Cover and supervise Maintenance and Production teams as needed.
• Develop methods and machinery for new secondary assembly operations from concept to building.
