Job summary

MANITOU Group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to plan, direct and coordinate manufacturing processes at our Yankton, South Dakota plant, reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager. You will develop, evaluate and improve methods, establish bills of materials and routings, and prepare work instructions for new products while ensuring efficiency and cost effectiveness.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Engineering or Manufacturing and 1–2 years of relevant experience, CAD proficiency, and

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering or manufacturing required.
• CAD proficiency and data analysis skills.
• Strong communication and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and coordinate manufacturing processes and projects.
• Develop and improve manufacturing methods.
• Create bills of materials, routings, and work centers.
• Prepare instructions for new products and ECOs.
• Estimate production times, staffing and related costs.
• Collaborate with customers and vendors on specs and tooling.
