Triton Metal Products is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Hamilton, IN team onsite. You will design, implement, and optimize manufacturing systems, equipment, and processes to meet production goals while prioritizing safety, quality, and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has a strong engineering background, experience with lean and Six Sigma, CAD/CAM tools, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional projects from concept to implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production equipment, and automation.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and computer-controlled equipment.
• Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methods.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate current manufacturing processes to identify improvement opportunities and reduce waste.
• Design, develop, and implement new processes, tools, and equipment to enhance production.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to integrate new processes smoothly.
• Conduct process validations, root-cause analysis, and FMEA to address issues proactively.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of procedures and equipment specs.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Train personnel on new processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions to meet targets.
• Stay updated with manufacturing technology and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
