Job summary

Triton Metal Products, Hamilton, IN, is seeking an Automation Engineer (Robotics) to design, program, and maintain automated systems on site. You will work across robotics programming, system integration, and production support to improve throughput and quality.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in industrial robotics, experience with FANUC and PLC programming, and a track record of troubleshooting and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of industrial robotics experience.
FANUC and PLC programming experience preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Program and troubleshoot industrial robots from multiple vendors.
Develop welding, material handling, machine tending, and palletizing applications.
Support robot cell installations and commissioning.
Program PLCs, HMIs, and control systems.
Develop and maintain electrical schematics and controls documentation.
Identify opportunities to automate manual processes.
Design and implement throughput, quality, and safety improvements.
Provide daily automation support; perform root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Manage automation projects from concept to implementation.
Ensure OSHA/ANSI/RIA safety compliance.
