Lehigh Heavy Forge Corporation in Anaheim, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to bridge customer requirements with manufacturing processes. You will develop and improve methods, apply lean concepts, and optimize throughput while ensuring quality and cost targets.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting production issues, evaluating layouts, supporting cost analyses, reviewing vendor proposals, and coordinating project schedules.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing, cell manufacturing, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements production/processing methods and controls to meet quality standards cost-efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and optimize efficiency to reduce downtime.
  • Evaluate process flow and plant layout to improve throughput, labor costs, and safety.
  • Develop costs for test production data and recommend methods to meet objectives.
  • Review vendor proposals for new or upgraded equipment and monitor improvements.
  • Continuously monitor operations for compliance with approved methods and quality standards.
  • Coordinate and develop manufacturing schedules for projects.
  • Develop PFMEA control plans and schedules.
  • Perform line validation and trial run management.
