Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr

Manufacturing Engineer position supporting the fabrication team by providing technical guidance and driving process improvements in sheet metal manufacturing. The ideal candidate has 3-4 years of experience, strong blueprint interpretation skills, and familiarity with CAD tools and fabrication processes.

Our client is a leading provider of custom metal fabrication services, over 100 years in business and headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. This organization specializes in producing high-quality metal components and assemblies for a diverse range of industries, including aerospace, defense, construction, energy, and infrastructure.

Description

• Interpret custom blueprints to determine most efficient manufacturing processes
• Utilize CAD software to design components, fixtures, and jigs
• Aid with process development
• Interface with clients and sales teams to understand order specifications
• Analyze metal fabrication processes and implement improvements as needed

Profile

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience
• Sheet metal fabrication experience (laser cutting, welding, forming, grinding, ect)
• Strong experience with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)

Job Offer

• Base salary up to $95,000 based on experience
• 3 weeks of PTO
• Quarterly bonus potential
