Adecco US, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the manufacturing engineering group, provide technical support, implement process improvements, and support the transition of new products into manufacturing.
The role emphasizes strong project management and team leadership. Essential duties include coordinating activities, managing productivity projects, reporting KPIs, maintaining routers and MPS, and mentoring a team of 3+ direct reports.
Manufacturing Engineering Manager is responsible the manufacturing engineering group, whose responsibilities include providing technical support to manufacturing, implementing process improvements, and supporting the transition of new products into manufacturing.
Essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:
Coordinates and prioritizes activities of manufacturing engineering group
Manages plant productivity projects, coordinating project commitment dates and overall performance
Requires strong project management and team building skills
Manage annual goals / objectives, performs one on one reviews with direct reports, fostering individual growth and development
Develops and reports KPI’s to Leadership such as first pass yield, scrap, MTBF, and productivity
Provides technical support to manufacturing, including troubleshooting issues on the floor
Creates and maintains routers, work instructions, and MPS
Identifies and implements process improvements
Contributes to the MRB process by evaluating defects, dispositioning parts, creating rework instructions, and implementing corrective and preventive actions
Manages a staff of 3 or more direct reports
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
8+ years’ experience in Aerospace manufacturing
2+ years’ experience managing teams
Self-motivated individual with strong time management skills and project ownership
Must be able to read manufacturing drawings, electrical schematics, and process procedures
Experienced in common models such as FMEA, A3, Fishbone, or other RCCA methods
Strong in GD&T and Solidworks
Familiarity with ISO, AS 9100, ITAR, and DFAR preferred
Applicant should be skilled in all MS office applications and MRP/ERP environments
Excellent oral and written communication
High level of moral and ethical conduct

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee frequently is required to walk, bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch and reach with hands and arms, climb or balance

$130,000.00 to $160,000.00 per year
