Job summary

Toyoda Gosei Texas in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in the Interior/Exterior Engineering department. The role focuses on designing and optimizing tooling and equipment to improve efficiency, quality, and safety for TG Texas and TGNA manufacturing.

You will work with production, maintenance, and quality teams, applying TPS and Lean methods, supporting new equipment installation, testing, and ongoing reliability improvements to reduce downtime and boost OEE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 1–4 years of engineering experience.
• Familiar with Toyota Production Systems (TPS), Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Experience with automatic screwdriving and clip assembly, heat stake and ultrasonic welding.
• Proficiency with CAD software and vision systems.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize tooling and production equipment to improve efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues in the production environment.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance and quality teams to improve system performance.
• Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.
