Job summary

Tadano seeks a Manufacturing Engineer in Georgetown, TX to develop and implement manufacturing processes, driving continuous improvement across safety, quality, delivery, and cost in a high-mix heavy vehicle facility. You will apply lean methods, design layouts, perform takt-time studies, and support design for manufacture, troubleshoot issues, and lead improvements with operations leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, mechanical, or industrial engineering or similar.
• 2+ years in assembly or heavy-vehicle manufacturing; high-mix, mid-volume preferred.
• Lean tools proficiency and experience with fabrication, welding, hydraulics, and assembly.

Responsibilities

• Apply lean manufacturing to safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements.
• Design layout of equipment and workspaces to boost productivity.
• Troubleshoot bottlenecks and downtime with engineered solutions.
• Perform takt time studies and use flow diagrams to optimize operations.
• Support design for manufacture and develop fixtures and tooling.
