Job summary

ATC Drivetrain is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to own and advance manufacturing processes for assigned components, focusing on safety, quality, and productivity. You will design operating instructions, develop FMEA and control plans, and partner with QA, maintenance, and program teams to implement improvements.

The role requires extensive shop-floor involvement, strong technical knowledge in mechanics and pneumatics, and excellent communication to influence stakeholders and drive cost

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physical science with 5–10 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Experience leading process integration, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong on-site collaboration with operators and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own and improve manufacturing processes for assigned components.
  • Develop operating instructions, FMEA and control plans to ensure QMS compliance.
  • Lead process improvements, tooling, fixtures, and flow optimization.
  • Mentor production and engineering staff and report progress to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
  • Collaborate with Program Engineering, QA, Maintenance, and Plant Management to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
