Job summary

Tri Tool Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive continuous improvement across our machining operations. You will monitor processes, reduce lead times, cut costs, and ensure high-quality production while working cross-functionally with engineering, production, quality, and vendors.

The role emphasizes design for manufacturability, tool/layout optimization, and applying lean methods to enhance efficiency. A manufacturing engineering degree and 3+ years in machining are expected.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing Engineer degree (industrial engineering focus is a plus).
• 3 years’ experience as a manufacturing engineer within a machining environment.
• 1-2 years CAD / CAM familiarity; SolidWorks preferred; Mastercam a plus.
• 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing costing / estimating in machining environments.
• 1-2 years ERP experience, preferably with NetSuite.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties and adhere to core values; lead process improvements.
• Identify and implement improvements to products, processes, tooling, fixturing, and routings.
• Create and maintain manufacturing routings and process documentation.
• Apply lean manufacturing to improve quality, reliability, and cost.
• Collaborate with engineering on new product development and manufacturability.
• Design equipment layouts to maximize efficiency; adopt new methods.
