Job summary

Gleason Cutting Tools Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement, and support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes, fixturing, tooling, and production equipment. You will apply lean principles and CAD/CAM tools to achieve quality and efficiency.

The role requires hands-on production support, experience with PTC Creo/Esprit CAM, and collaboration with supply chain and production teams to optimize tooling and processes.

Qualifications

• Technical certificate or Associate’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Technology or 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience generating CAD models and drawings with proper tolerances for machine components.
• CNC production programming experience preferred (PTC Creo and/or Esprit CAM).

Responsibilities

• Generate process routings for cost-effective, high-quality precision components.
• Support CNC programming for vertical machining centers and multi-axis lathes.
• Collaborate with tooling vendors to improve machining efficiency and reduce cycle times.
