Avery Weigh-Tronix is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design and improve production processes, layouts, and equipment with a strong focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance. You will apply 80/20 principles and ITW Toolbox to simplify workflows and enhance product flow.

Key responsibilities include creating routers and ECOs, optimizing material flow, and leading cross-functional kaizen events to deliver measurable financial results.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment preferred.
• Welding, Machining, and Fabrication OR Electronic Assembly experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to use data to drive improvements.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings/specifications and translate to robust methods.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CAD/design capability (Autodesk preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Design and improve processes, equipment, and layouts with safety/ergonomics in mind.
• Create and maintain production routers, bills of process, and work center standards.
• Develop raw material requirements and partner with Supply Chain to improve availability.
• Design and validate cost-effective packaging for product integrity and flow.
• Lead kaizen events and cross-functional projects to improve SQDC performance.
