Job summary

You will work with planning, design, and vendors to optimize equipment, tooling, and processes, while preparing detailed project plans and ensuring sustained results. A degree in engineering and ERP experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial/industrial engineering or Operations Management.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Clear oral and written communication.
• Ability to read blueprints or process plans.
• Experience with ERP systems such as JDE or SAP.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team and adapt to change.
• Drive for results and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods to reduce costs and improve quality.
• Track equipment and tooling repair costs for replacement justifications.
• Assist in achieving SQDCC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Cash) goals.
• Analyze workflow and layout for efficiency, especially for new equipment installs.
• Coordinate with planning, design, and tooling to meet production goals.
• Create project plans with resources, costs, benefits, and schedules; own execution.
