Job summary

Pentair in Delavan, Wisconsin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes across machining, molding, and assembly, while driving automation and digital manufacturing initiatives.

You will lead process improvements, kaizen events, and Lean projects, collaborate with Product Engineering, and manage capital equipment from concept to start-up. This is a full-time role with a strong benefits package and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechatronics or related field.
• Experience leading process improvement and capital equipment projects.
• Experience implementing manufacturing automation systems.
• Knowledge of robotics, machine vision, CNC processes and automation.
• Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods to reduce cost and increase productivity.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and kaizen events.
• Estimate production times, staffing needs, and equipment capacity.
• Establish manufacturing documentation including routings and work instructions.
• Support new product introductions and product transfers.
• Drive automation projects to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
