Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for our Delavan, WI location. You will plan, direct, and coordinate manufacturing processes, implement new operational processes, equipment, and tooling, and lead kaizen events.

You will also coordinate tool and vendor equipment repairs and support continuous improvement across cross-functional teams. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical/industrial engineering or operations management, proficiency in Excel and Word, and experience with

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, industrial engineering, or operations management.
Proficient in Word and Excel.
Strong problem-solving ability and sound judgment.
Able to communicate clearly in writing and orally.
Experience with cross-functional teams and negotiation.
Ability to read blueprints or process plans.
Experience in high-volume manufacturing and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods to reduce costs and improve quality.
Track costs for equipment and tooling; justify replacements.
Support Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Cash goals.
Design layouts for equipment and workspace to maximize efficiency.
Collaborate with planning, design, and tooling teams to ensure efficient production.
Lead lean initiatives and participate in PFMEA and Quality Plan development.
