Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for its Delavan, WI facility. You will develop and improve manufacturing methods across machining, molding, and assembly, driving Lean initiatives and capital projects to boost efficiency.

You will partner with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain to modernize systems and deliver safe, high-quality products. Join a team focused on continuous improvement and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Experience leading process improvement and capital equipment projects.
• Experience implementing or supporting manufacturing automation systems.
• Working knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation concepts.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and structured problem-solving methods.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and manufacturing documentation systems.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or JDE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods to reduce cost, improve quality, and increase productivity.
• Analyze workflow, labor utilization, equipment capability, space requirements, and layouts to maximize efficiency.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and kaizen events.
• Support SQDCC objectives through process improvements and problem-solving.
• Establish and maintain manufacturing documentation including routings and work instructions.
• Partner with Product Engineering to ensure scalable manufacturing processes.
• Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and manufacturing costs.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for quality and delivery.
