Job summary

LHH in Tampa, Florida seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to drive product development and improve performance across manufacturing and distribution operations. You will analyze data, optimize processes, and support new product launches with a focus on quality and efficiency.

This role collaborates with engineering, quality, and operations teams to reduce downtime, balance lines, and implement Lean practices.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or distribution environments.
• Strong understanding of lifecycle management, supply chain, and inventory dynamics.
• Experience collaborating across engineering, marketing, and operations.
• Proactive and adaptable with strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support daily manufacturing operations and troubleshoot production issues.
• Develop, improve, and standardize manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Analyze production data, cycle times, downtime, scrap, and rework to identify improvement opportunities.
• Conduct time studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis to improve production flow.
• Develop and maintain standard work instructions, process documentation, and work instructions.
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring production and quality issues.
• Work with Production and Quality teams to improve processes and reduce defects.
• Support new product introduction, process changes, equipment installations, and production launches.
• Assist with tooling, fixtures, equipment, and workstation improvements.
• Monitor key manufacturing metrics and develop reports to communicate performance.
