Job summary

Eos Energy Storage in East Pittsburgh is seeking a manufacturing engineer to provide technical support and lead continuous improvement in operations. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.

This role involves troubleshooting manufacturing issues, developing processes, and training staff. Familiarity with CAD software and Lean manufacturing techniques is preferred. Occasional travel may be required, but primarily the position is on-site.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing role.
• Experience interpreting electrical drawings and handling electrical parts (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to operations and resolve manufacturing issues.
• Develop processes using lean methodologies to improve throughput.
• Design and construct tooling/fixtures as needed.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce costs and cycle times.
• Engage with teams to achieve SQDC goals.

Direct experience in manufacturing environment

Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing techniques
