The Judge Group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for our Staunton, VA plant to drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment. You will focus on enhancing manufacturing processes, reducing waste, and solving production issues across cross-functional teams.
Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering with 1 year of manufacturing experience or strong co-ops. Benefits include health coverage from day one, 401(k) with match, and comprehensive PTO.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
- 1 year of manufacturing experience or strong co-op/internship background.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and process improvement.
- Hands-on problem solving and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve daily production issues to keep operations running.
- Develop and optimize assembly and fabrication processes to reduce waste.
- Implement Lean/Six Sigma methods to improve quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with Design Engineering, Quality and Production teams.
- Create and maintain work instructions, SOPs, and process docs.
- Support equipment installation, validation and new product introductions.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and drive improvements.
- Ensure safety and quality standards are met.
