Job summary

ProCaps Laboratories in Henderson, NV is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop, optimize, and standardize manufacturing processes while leading capital projects and CI initiatives. You will drive process design, equipment implementation, and cross-functional collaboration with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and external vendors to improve efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is required.
• Understanding of electromechanical equipment with ability to troubleshoot and implement corrective actions.
• Familiarity with takt time, cycle time, efficiency, yield and other manufacturing terms.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal.
• Process improvement mindset and knowledge of project management tools.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and P&ID diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Designs and streamlines production processes to drive optimum output while maintaining quality and safety.
• Lead equipment implementation, ROI justification, procurement, installation, and commissioning of capital projects.
• Identify root causes of performance gaps and drive cross-functional actions to remove barriers.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma to reduce waste and costs.
• Analyze production data (OEE, yield, cycle time, downtime) to drive data-based decisions.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and work instructions; ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality and R&D to troubleshoot and support new product introductions.
• Drive labor and workflow optimization, including line balancing and material flow improvements.
