Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Liberty, MO to plan, develop, and implement manufacturing processes for gas meter assemblies. You will work daily with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot equipment and drive continuous improvements.

The role requires a BS in a manufacturing-related field and 2–5 years of experience; knowledge of 3D CAD, CNC, and robotic welding is preferred. This on-site position offers opportunities to optimize layouts, cost data, and capital projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a manufacturing-related field with 2–5 years of experience.
Strong analytical and technical skills with good communication.
Experience with 3D CAD, CNC, and robotic welding preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize repeatable manufacturing processes to reduce cycle time and waste.
Lead time studies, standard costs, and capital project proposals.
Design tooling, fixtures, and provide CNC/robot welding programs.
Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Planning, and Supply Chain.
Apply Lean/Six Sigma principles to drive continuous improvement.
Ensure safety and ergonomic considerations in equipment upgrades.
