Job summary

Performix in Oregon seeks an electro-mechanical technician who can work autonomously, troubleshoot, and support Lean Manufacturing initiatives on a fast-paced factory floor.

You will read mechanical blueprints, reference National Electrical Codes, and collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to minimize downtime and improve processes. Strong problem-solving and hands-on training abilities are key to success.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in electro-mechanical or electronic technology or equivalent; minimum two years electro-mechanical work experience.
• Or five+ years of related field experience.
• Familiar with standard troubleshooting practices.
• Able to reference National Electrical Codes and read blueprints/wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Identify and troubleshoot process, material, or equipment problems to minimize downtime.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and electronic equipment.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement activities.
• Assist with hands-on training of manufacturing employees on new products and processes.
• Promote a safety-first culture and keep work area clean and organized (5S).
