Job summary
PrideNow in Staunton, VA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer - Direct Hire to streamline production and drive continuous improvement initiatives across quality, maintenance, and supply chain functions.
You will mentor junior engineers, lead cross-functional kaizen events, develop labor standards, analyze data to optimize layouts, and collaborate with NPI teams to improve manufacturability and cost efficiency in our factory.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 4–6+ years of related manufacturing experience.
- SolidWorks, AutoCAD 2D, and MS Project experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with QA, supply chain, and maintenance to streamline production.
- Mentor less experienced engineers and support larger projects.
- Lead organizational initiatives and training for projects.
- Apply work measurement to establish labor standards and costs.
- Analyze operational data to optimize workforce, layout, and workflow.
- Enhance safety, quality, and productivity through lean practices.
- Support NPI teams with process flow adjustments and tooling.
- Define equipment needs and manage procurement from inception to training.
