Job summary

TRAK Group in Hamilton, OH is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to improve safety, quality, reliability, and efficiency of operations. This hands-on role provides daily shop floor support while leading continuous improvement, automated assembly optimization, and new product launches.

You will collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Product Engineering, Logistics, and Operations to reduce downtime, improve OEE, and integrate new technologies into existing manufacturing systems.

Qualifications

• Significant manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of automated assembly processes and shop floor support.
• Experience with PFMEA, lean methods, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on engineering support for daily manufacturing and shop floor operations.
• Lead continuous improvement projects focused on equipment, processes, safety, quality, and productivity.
• Optimize production flow, tooling, and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot processes and equipment issues with corrective actions.
• Analyze OEE, downtime, and root causes to drive improvements.
• Develop and maintain standardized work instructions and procedures.
• Mentor operators and technicians on processes and changeovers.
• Support new product launches with process validation and pilot builds.
