Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, in Selmer, TN, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join the Monogram Refrigeration Team. You will manage and execute manufacturing process projects supporting production, material handling, quality, EHS, and plant improvements, and serve as a liaison for NPI programs.

You will develop processes, ensure equipment reliability, and lead cross-functional efforts to improve OEE and workflow across the value stream.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent required.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment and processes preferred.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage specification development utilizing GE standards, supplier selection, early supplier engagement, technical reviews, factory layout development, installation and qualification of equipment.
• Ensure tooling and equipment reliability to maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Own program metrics: labor plan, budgets, and quality for in-house parts/products; perform trade-offs with the program team.
• Develop manufacturing processes with cross-functional participation; create MCPs and MCIs.
• Ensure safety and health considerations in equipment and processes with EHS and AIE involvement.
• Understand the Value Stream; consider DFMA, material flow, and workstation design in equipment development.
