Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, seeks an Advanced Quality Engineer (Cooking) to lead quality activities for new products and processes across U.S. refrigeration sites. You will own qualification, launch, and transition to plant operations with durable controls and documentation.

You will leverage data-driven insights to reduce variation and improve process capability, collaborating with AME, Design, and Suppliers. This role is based in LaFayette, GA, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in Quality/Manufacturing/Process engineering or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decisions.
• Ability to lead projects and influence cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality activities for new products, parts, processes, and equipment from development through production launch.
• Serve as process quality expert for assigned equipment and manufacturing processes.
• Partner with AME, Design Engineering, Plant Quality, suppliers, and teams to ensure successful launches.
• Lead PFMEA activities to identify risks and implement mitigations before launch.
• Develop and execute qualification plans for new equipment and processes with AME and suppliers.
• Travel to supplier/manufacturing sites for planning, runoffs, trials, and launch support.
• Ensure documentation and controls are in place for smooth plant ownership transfer.
• Provide technical guidance to manufacturing and quality teams as needed.
