Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design and develop efficient manufacturing processes and equipment layouts. You will coordinate launches for new or revised products and lead lean initiatives to reduce costs and improve productivity.

The role requires strong problem solving, data analysis, and ability to work with cross-functional teams across the plant. This on-site position in the Cusseta, AL area emphasizes safety, ownership, and teamwork as core values.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of automated assembly and cell layout.
• Strong problem solving and data analysis skills.
• Ability to work on cross-functional teams and lean initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Research, design and develop manufacturing processes and equipment layouts.
• Coordinate manufacturing launches for new or revised products.
• Lead lean manufacturing initiatives including cost reductions and productivity improvements.
