Saige Partners in Mansfield, Ohio is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our high-tech manufacturing facility that builds large industrial actuators. Youll work hands-on with production, quality, maintenance, supply chain and leadership to apply Lean principles, data analysis, and structured problem solving to improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity and cost.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Experience using functional and measurement tooling to meet gauging requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the initiative to work independently.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work with people across teams and levels.
• Persistence in moving improvement work forward, including when challenges arise.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze performance data and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Lead root cause analysis using methods such as 8D, A3, fishbone diagrams, and 5 Whys.
• Improve equipment effectiveness, labor productivity, first-pass yield, and throughput.
• Support cost-reduction efforts by improving productivity and eliminating waste.
• Design tooling, jigs, fixtures, functional gauges, and facility equipment in SolidWorks.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and fixturing issues; identify causes and implement corrective solutions.
• Learn the facility’s capabilities to ensure designs meet production needs.
• Build and analyze Power BI dashboards.
• Partner across teams to deliver projects from initial concept through completion.
• Prepare capital requests for equipment or software, including cost justifications.
• Identify specifications and initiate purchases of materials and components needed for designs.
