Job summary

Quest Global is seeking a manufacturing engineer for our Houston facility to drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality, safety, and cost. You will develop work instructions, BOMs, and QC methods while supporting production operations and cross-functional teams.

An ideal candidate has 5–10 years in manufacturing/production engineering, a relevant engineering degree, and experience with Lean, Six Sigma, CAD, and ERP/MRP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing or production engineering.
• Experience in process development, production support, and continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis methodologies.
• Experience with BOM management and engineering change control.
• Proficiency with CAD tools and Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and digital manufacturing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, safety, and cost.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing work instructions, process documentation, and QC work methods.
• Conduct time studies and process analysis to improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Design and implement fixtures, tooling, and manufacturing aids.
• Create and maintain engineering drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation.
• Provide technical support to production, quality, planning, and maintenance teams.
• Investigate and resolve non-conformances, quality issues, and rework activities.
• Manage Concession Requests, QNotes, and manufacturing change activities.
• Drive machine and process improvement projects.
• Interface with suppliers, technology teams, and internal stakeholders to resolve manufacturing challenges and support operational goals.
