Job summary

HPC Fire Inspired, based in Miamisburg, OH, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to design, plan, and deliver manufacturing system solutions that improve cost, capital investments and product quality. You will work cross-functionally with sales, finance, engineering, and operations to implement manufacturable, high-performance products while adopting advanced manufacturing trends.

You will lead process improvements, map end-to-end processes, and develop fixtures, gauges, and automation opportunities.

Qualifications

• Requires Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of related manufacturing experience.
• Experience with 3D CAD software and ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing, ISO and CSA standards; Hindi or Mandarin proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Set the process, train, and create standard work and tools for the team.
• Process map end-to-end processes and identify non-value add activities.
• Identify automation opportunities, fixturing, gauges to remove waste and increase capacity.
• Lead lean projects and improve through 5S, Kaizen, Kanban and Value Stream Mapping.
• Conduct data collection and analysis to identify improvements and drive cost reductions.
• Maintain and optimize facility layout using lean cell design techniques.
• Ensure effective utilization of manufacturing plant equipment through Continuous Improvement.
