Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in aerospace, manufacturing, value engineering or product engineering preferred.
• Advanced degree preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Project management skills and lean practitioner mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage full life cycle of projects, including contract review, pre-project planning, definition, design, development, testing, implementation, execution and closeout.
• Coordinate and direct program support through planning and execution of projects within a program management framework.
• Provide interdepartmental communication between Engineering, Production, Production Control, Quality and other areas.
• Develop and maintain standardized processes and sequence of operations.
• Establish procedures to guide production personnel on specs, material processes and quality requirements.
• Evaluate and analyze new developments or designs for application to current production processes.
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues with processes.
• Design and develop tooling for new and existing programs.
