Job summary

MiTek is seeking a candidate to contribute to the design and production teams, ensuring manufacturing specifications are met, budgets are controlled, and shipments align with commitments. The role requires working in Largo and, after relocation, Zephyrhills.

Candidates will coordinate automation projects for internal customers, estimate capital equipment needs, and track hardware/material purchases with the procurement team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Equivalent combination of experience and education may substitute on a year-for-year basis.
• 1–2 years of related experience is required.

A Brief Overview

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and production personnel to ensure manufacturing specifications are adhered to, execution budgets are maintained, and shipments meet our promised commitment dates to our customers.
• Create cost estimates to support for capital equipment requests (CER).
• Track project hardware/material purchases and coordinate with our procurement team.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Related Field required
• Equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis
• 1-2 Years of related experience required

Physical Demands

This role is primarily performed in an office environment where a computer, telephone and other office equipment are used as needed to perform the duties of the role. As part of the essential functions of this role, the individual will need to access a factory and be exposed to temperature changes. This may will result in being exposed to noise, vibration, chemicals/fumes and navigate around factory machines.
