Job summary

HydraForce internship program seeks Summer 2027 interns to develop future engineering resources for our organizations. Interns will work with Engineering groups on Creo-based tool design, testing, and process improvements, with increasing complexity as you progress.

Dates are June 2, 2027 to August 6, 2027. The program aims to prepare interns for entry-level engineering roles after graduation.

Qualifications

• Committed to an engineering college undergraduate program.
• GPA of at least 3.0.
• Basic proficiency in CAD modeling, preferably in PTC Creo.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Good written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-directed and motivated.
• Majors desired: Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering Technology.

Responsibilities

• Assist tool design with Creo 3D modeling and dimensioning drawings.
• Support testing experiments and follow a measurement plan; participate in FMEA.
• Improve layouts of assembly cells and throughput; identify waste and apply 5S.
• Assist production assembly and testing.

Job Description

We are hiring for 2027 Summer Interns! The goal of HydraForce’s internship program is to develop future engineering resources for our organization while providing support to our Engineering groups. We structure the engineering internship to allow candidates the opportunity to develop knowledge and skill-sets unique to our industry. Project tasks reflect an increasing level of technical complexity based on demonstrated proficiency and success on prior assignments. Although there is no guarantee of employment, it is our goal to have our interns fully capable of stepping into an entry-level engineering position upon graduation.

Additional Information

The US base hourly range for this position will be in between $20- $27 depending on the credits accumulated for the undergraduate students.
