Job summary

HydraForce, a Bosch Rexroth company, invites motivated engineering students to join as Manufacturing Engineer Intern for Summer 2027. This full-time internship offers hands-on experience in design, assembly, and process improvement across hydraulics products.

You will work with Creo-based 3D modeling, participate in testing, layout optimization, and 5S implementation, while developing skills in problem solving, teamwork, and communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be pursuing an engineering degree with coursework in manufacturing or mechanical systems.
• Strong CAD skills and basic modeling experience with Creo preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and improving manufacturing layouts and processes.

We are hiring for 2027 Summer Interns!

The goal of HydraForce’s internship program is to develop future engineering resources for our organization while providing support to our Engineering groups. We structure the engineering internship to allow candidates the opportunity to develop knowledge and skill-sets unique to our industry. Project tasks reflect an increasing level of technical complexity based on demonstrated proficiency and success on prior assignments. Although there is no guarantee of employment, it is our goal to have our interns fully capable of stepping into an entry-level engineering position upon graduation.

Internship Dates:

• Committed to an engineering college undergraduate program
• A minimum on 3.0 GPA
• Basic proficiency in CAD modeling, preferably in PTC Creo
• Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Good written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-directed and motivated
• Majors Desired:Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering Technology

The US base hourly range for this position will be in between $20- $27 depending on the credits accumulated for the undergraduate students.
