Job summary

Constellium Deutschland GmbH in Michigan seeks a Manufacturing Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 to support the Reliability Engineering Team and the Engineering & Maintenance Manager. You will contribute to CI initiatives, drive OEE improvements, and help standardize work practices.

Responsibilities include data collection and analysis, creating training materials, developing facility layouts with AutoCAD, and assisting with SOPs, ISO documentation, and cross-functional projects across plant

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret data.
Self-motivated, organized and capable of handling multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to interact with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Support Reliability Engineering and Maintenance in executing projects.
Contribute to OEE improvements and CI initiatives using Lean methods.
Assist in process standardization, SOPs, and training materials development.
Develop and maintain facility layouts and engineering drawings with AutoCAD.
Collect, analyze production data, identify trends, and present recommendations.
Support ISO documentation, quality system requirements, and cross-functional projects.
