Job summary

Constellium Deutschland GmbH is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 in a non-remote setting. The intern will support the Reliability Engineering and Maintenance teams on CI projects, optimize OEE, and help standardize processes.

Duties include data collection, SOP creation, and layout work using AutoCAD. Qualifications include pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Excel.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret data.
Self-motivated and organized with minimal supervision.
Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels.
Proficient in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Familiar with Lean, CI, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence concepts.
Experience using AutoCAD or CAD software to develop layouts.

Responsibilities

Assist in projects to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and equipment reliability.
Support CI initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and problem-solving methods.
Develop, update, and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and training materials.
Collect and analyze production and maintenance data to identify trends.
Present findings and recommendations to engineering leadership.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support plant objectives.
