Job summary
Constellium Automotive Group in Detroit seeks a Manufacturing Engineer Intern to support Reliability Engineering and the Engineering & Maintenance Manager in CI initiatives. You will work on OEE improvement, standardization, SOPs, data analysis, and training material development to boost safety, quality and productivity.
You will collect and analyze data, identify trends, and present recommendations to plant leadership, while collaborating with cross-functional teams on layouts and process
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with AutoCAD or CAD software preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support CI and OEE improvement projects.
- Assist in process standardization and SOP documentation.
- Develop training materials and standard work practices.
- Collect and analyze production and maintenance data.
- Present actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Create facility layout drawings using AutoCAD.
- Support safety, quality and efficiency initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet plant objectives.
