Job summary

Textron Systems in Slidell, LA is seeking a 2027 Intern - Manufacturing Engineer (Crewed Land). This internship offers hands-on experience on real projects, mentorship, and exposure to production tooling and process planning.

You will collaborate with engineering to improve manufacturability, develop process plans, create MBOMs for MRP, and support RCCA on production issues while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Effective verbal and written communications skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office experience.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with Engineering on tooling and build-plan methodology.
• Develops process plans for shop floor methods and work instructions.
• Creates MBOMs to enable MRP and order release.
• Provides RCCA guidance on production issues.
• Analyzes engineering drawings and process specs.
• Ensures compliance with regulations.
