Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies invites applications for an Engineering Intern to support the Engineering team on production projects and continuous improvement initiatives in a hands-on electronics manufacturing setting. The role involves assisting with process improvement, tooling design, failure analysis, and cross-functional support to ensure product integrity.

Ideal candidates are engineering students with knowledge of Windows/Microsoft Office and familiarity with AutoCAD or SolidWorks.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college or university Engineering Program.
• Junior or Senior level, preferred. Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering discipline, preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Helps develop, improve and revise manufacturing processes
• Helps design and implement tooling and fixtures for effective manufacturing
• Helps analyze failures and troubleshoots to improve test yields
• Supports purchasing, quality, test, and production departments to ensure product integrity is maintained
• Supports cost justification studies and ROI for capital equipment
• Creating and updating work instructions
• Supports SOW development for equipment implementation and validation
