Job summary

Nomad Global Communication Solutions is offering a Manufacturing Engineering Intern position within the Innovative Solutions Group. The role focuses on bridging design and production, applying DFM principles, and supporting tooling and documentation on the production floor.

You will work with Senior Manufacturing Engineers to learn through hands-on projects, CAD updates, and process documentation, gaining exposure to electrical and mechanical build challenges across multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS degree programs in engineering disciplines.
• CAD software experience, especially SolidWorks or SolidWorks Electrical.
• Fundamentals in electrical and mechanical systems; familiarity with basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews.
• Update manufacturing models, schematics, and standard work documents using ECAD/CAD tools.
• Support shop floor troubleshooting and communicating engineering intent under guidance.
• Assist with fixture modifications and basic tooling/workspace design.
