Job summary

FabDigit, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to assess customer CAD files, evaluate manufacturability, and translate critical drawings between English and Mandarin. You will work with global partners to verify toolpaths, certifications, and schedules while ensuring parts meet exact engineering specs.

You will gain exposure to precision machining, fabrication, and a fast-moving hardware startup, with strong potential for a full-time role based on performance.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or manufacturing engineering student or graduate.
• Strong technical communication in English and Mandarin.
• Bilingual ability to translate specs between languages is a plus.
• Experience with major 3D CAD software preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate CAD models and drawings for manufacturability across CNC, sheet metal, and molding.
• Coordinate with global partners on toolpaths, certifications, and schedules.
• Translate technical specifications between English and Mandarin.
• Review inspection and FAIs to ensure conformance before ship.
• Contribute feedback to the software team to improve automated quoting.
