Job summary

The Manufacturing Engineer III at Wacker Neuson Group will develop and improve processes across assembly, fabrication, weld, machining, paint and facilities projects to maximize throughput and quality.

You will lead design and process improvement efforts, participate on core teams, perform cost analyses, implement changes, and ensure safe, efficient production while maintaining routing and tool readiness; a strong background in manufacturing engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or similar discipline is required.
• Minimum 5 years manufacturing engineering experience; 7+ years preferred.
• Understanding of production processes and concepts.
• Excellent verbal, written and public speaking skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Proficient CAD, Word, Excel and Access.
• U.S. Citizen (Sponsorship will not be provided now or in the future)

Responsibilities

• Designs and improves production areas and processes.
• Participates on core teams, designs new processes, studies costs and layouts, obtains approvals.
• Implements process changes including ECNs, routing, Kanban, and operator training.
• Maintains routing, calibrates equipment and conducts safety reviews.
• Performs time studies and supports ISO actions and OMS updates.
• Resolves manufacturing and safety issues with cross-functional teams.
• Maximizes production efficiency without sacrificing quality.
• Continues professional development and supports special projects in inventory and facilities.
