Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics in Lynnwood, WA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II for an on-site role. You will develop and improve manufacturing processes, support product manufacturability and cost effectiveness, and work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams.

The position requires 2+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, a BS in an engineering discipline, and strong cross-functional communication.

Qualifications

Experience: 2+ years as a Manufacturing Engineer.
Knowledge: modern production principles, materials, chemicals; basics of electrical, mechanical, fluids, heat transfer.
Skills/Abilities: able to communicate with employees at all levels.
Education/Certification: BA or BS in Mechanical Eng, Electrical Eng, Chemical Eng, Materials Science or related field.
Eligibility: ITAR access considerations; US Persons preferred for DoD contracts.

Responsibilities

Study, analyze and design methods, processes, layouts, and tooling to support production.
Identify root cause and corrective actions for manufacturing problems and implement cost reduction programs.
Participate in customer specification reviews and review of new designs or changes.
Review design changes for feasibility, savings and justification.
Develop manufacturing operating instructions and track manufacturing metrics.
Coordinate with vendors and customers and lead problem-solving efforts.
