dataCon is seeking an experienced Manufacturing/Process Engineer to own engineering activities for circuit card assembly, cable/wire harnesses, and box builds. You will drive continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and lean initiatives while interfacing with customers and internal teams.

The role requires a B.S. in engineering with at least 6 years in electronics/electro-mechanical fields, preferably in contract manufacturing, and strong CAD/engineering change notice familiarity.

Qualificações

• B.S. engineering or equivalent experience, no less than 6 years’ experience in electronics and/or electro mechanical field, preferably in contract manufacturing.
• Complete understanding of drawings, parts lists, specifications and engineering change notices.
• Circuit card assembly experience.
• Continuous improvements and root cause corrective action initiatives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Drives all engineering activities on assigned accounts and serves as the interface for internal and external customers.
• Reviews quotes to ensure complete scope, technical data package, and special instructions.
• Develops labor times for interconnect assemblies and evaluates customer specifications.
• Creates and maintains manufacturing diagrams, BOMs, work instructions, and routing for production orders.
• Implements process improvements to reduce costs and increase quality, and resolves production issues.
