Job summary

Mission Technologies, a division of HII, seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support the production of autonomous systems. You will help resolve manufacturing issues, drive continuous improvement, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely product delivery.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, failure analysis, and implementing process improvements across existing and new designs, with a focus on manufacturability and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required or equivalent experience.
• Master's degree preferred for advanced roles.

Responsibilities

• Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.
• Respond to production issues and provide hands-on support to diagnose and resolve manufacturing problems.
• Perform failure analysis, root cause investigation, and corrective actions for nonconformances.
• Develop and implement manufacturing process updates to improve safety, quality, throughput, and cost.
• Recommend design improvements to enhance manufacturability and producibility.
