Job summary

Albany Engineered Composites designs, develops, and manufactures advanced composite components for aerospace applications. The Manufacturing Engineer plans layup, cure, machining, bonding, painting, and assembly processes to optimize layout and productivity in the plant.

Responsibilities include solving complex technical problems, drafting robust production plans, and ensuring QC/inspection requirements are integrated into fabrication. A BS in engineering with 5+ years of experience is expected.

Qualifications

• BS in designated Engineering or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles in the composites materials and processing field.
• General knowledge of related disciplines.
• Provides technical solutions that are imaginative, thorough, practicable and align with objectives.
• Works under general direction, independently develops solutions.
