Job summary
CorTech LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II for our client in Moncks Corner, SC. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and reviewing manufacturing processes, procedures, and equipment within a single facility to support production and quality goals.
You will identify improved techniques, plan assembly layouts for efficiency and safety, and may oversee capital projects. Qualifications include a Bachelors degree in engineering and 2–5 years of related experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in engineering or related field required.
- 25 years of experience in manufacturing engineering preferred.
- Experience applying continuous improvement methods (pull systems, process mapping, JIT).
- Familiarity with data structures and data analysis tools.
Responsibilities
- Plan and design basic manufacturing processes to improve assembly of products.
- Identify equipment and tooling needed to meet product and quality specs.
- Lead process improvement projects to boost efficiency, yield, safety, and cost.
- May lead small teams on process improvement initiatives.
- Provide engineering design guidance to leverage equipment and techniques.
- Ensure regulatory compliance for complex processes and procedures.
- Investigate quality issues and propose corrective actions.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
